BIGGER ROLE FOR FREIGHT FORWARDERS

Cargo Agency Conference (CAC), that consists of only airlines, has recently made a decision to consult with freight forwarders before any future resolutions. By seeking feedback from the Regional Joint Councils, the air cargo programs will improve safety, security, and efficiency of cargo distribution. IATA, secretariat for the CAC, emphasised that taking views of freight forwarders into considerations will streamline the consultation process and will be vastly advantageous.
