REROUTING AT AIR CANADA

In January, Air Canada had expressed interest in converting 7 passenger aircrafts into freighters. After receiving their newly converted Boeing 767-300ER, the carrier has mapped out the routing which will be restricted to Miami, Quito, Lima, Mexico City and Guadalajara with its base in Toronto. Additional destinations such as Halifax, St John’s, Madrid, Frankfurt and more will be included as soon as the carrier starts taking deliveries of rest of the freighters. The conversion will allow the airlines to be proactive in the cargo sector in movement of oil and gas equipment, pharmaceuticals, perishables, as well as growing demand for e-commerce goods.
