As the demand for Airbus’s current freighter (A330F) has gone downhill, the company is once again reconsidering options to structure a freighter version of their A350. This supposed development will live up to the e-commerce demand due to its wide body with larger volumetric capacity and will also compete with Boeing’s B777F. This rumoured evolution will bring up some massive challenges for Airbus, starting with cutting up a huge frame for cargo door followed by getting approval from at least 50 airlines before it can even launch the programme. And not to mention, the ongoing trend of airlines converting their passenger aircrafts into freighters is a factor that will also come into play.
